Dear Friends in Christ,
Welcome! I’m so glad you’ve found us. St. Paul’s is a vibrant and historic church located in the heart of Spring Hill.
Our community is joyful and generous, rooted in the abundant love of Christ, where people gather to worship, to grow in faith, to connect meaningfully with others, and to serve the world in Christ’s name. No matter where you are on your journey, you’ll find a place here to belong, to explore, and to discover how God is at work in your life.
I hope you’ll make plans to visit, and experience the grace and friendship that make St. Paul’s such a special place.
Yours in faith and gratitude,
Since its founding in the mid-1800s, St. Paul’s journey has been one of deep dedication, faith, and resilient growth. Below are the pivotal moments that shaped our community and history.
A small group of Episcopalians purchased five wooded acres in the village of Spring Hill, marking the beginning of our parish.
The serenely beautiful, white-columned church building was finished and consecrated, despite construction delays caused by a severe yellow fever epidemic.
The congregation was officially admitted to the Diocese of Alabama on June 24th, strengthening our ties across the state.
The church faced a challenging period where the ember of faith was kept burning by a handful of devoted men and women who ensured our doors remained open.
Driven by a ten-fold growth in the congregation, a larger, Georgian Colonial-style church was dedicated to serve the expanding parish.
We continue to serve a thriving parish of nearly one thousand families, building on the legacy of determination and faith.
Meet the dedicated team serving our church and community, all of whom are ready to connect with you, answer your questions, and support you in every step of your faith and growth journey.

The Vestry works in tandem with the Rector and other clergy to set the overall vision and conduct the day-to-day affairs of the church, reflecting the crucial partnership between lay and ordained leaders common in all Episcopal parishes. Vestry members are elected at the annual parish meeting for a three-year term, during which they gather for regular meetings and serve on committees covering all areas of parish life, from finance and outreach to safety. Emphasizing the spiritual foundation of their work, each vestry meeting begins with a short service of Holy Communion, ensuring the spirit of our shared Christian calling imbues all that they do.
