Outreach Ministries

As a parish and as individuals we are committed to showing forth God's love in the world. Below are some examples of the long-term partnerships we are engaged in around this mission. In addition to these, St. Paul's works to respond to the needs of our neighbors in restorative and creative ways.

Easy Eats at Prichard Prep

The Easy Eats backpack food ministry between St. Paul’s and Prichard Preparatory School began in the 2020-2021 school year. Originally serving about 30 students and their families, that number has grown to over 50. 


Easy Eats provides weekend meals, discreetly distributed on Friday afternoons, to help bridge the gap between school-provided meals on weekdays. To date, we have provided thousands of meals in this fashion. Feedback from students, families, teachers, and administrators has been great and we look forward to continuing to develop this partnership.

Wheel-a-Meal

Wheel A Meal is a volunteer service that provides meals, Monday through Friday, to anyone unable to prepare meals for themselves.


Our clients receive a full meal, and a sandwich for the evening meal. There is a reasonable fee and help is available for anyone in financial need. Many of our clients are homebound for one reason or another and are long-term recipients but we do deliver to clients on a short term basis, recovering from an illness or surgery who cannot prepare the meals themselves but would like to maintain their independence.


Wheel A Meal is supported by these four Spring Hill area faith communities:

  • St. Ignatius Parish
  • St. Paul’s Episcopal Church
  • Spring Hill Baptist Church
  • Spring Hill Presbyterian Church


Wilmer Hall

Wilmer Hall Children's Home is a non-profit faith-based organization that has been serving young people in need in Mobile, Alabama since 1864. As an agency of the Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast, Wilmer Hall serves children and young adults through several programs that provide tutoring, on-campus living, and other tools needed to succeed.

Youth & Adult Mission Trips

As with our local outreach, St. Paul's approaches mission trips with enduring partnerships in mind. In the past this has meant yearly trips to the Dominican Republic for adults and to the area surrounding Sewanee, TN for youth.
